Convinced Pintry spent his days among the living, and his nights among the spirits of the dead, the Apache named him, “The Man Who Walks Between The Living and the Dead”.
Town folks and settlers forged Pintry’s Apache name into something more mystical, more sinister, simply calling him “The Death Rider”, or “The Angel of Death”. Tales grew to legends, exaggerations became truths in people’s minds, and Pintry, an innocent man who tried to live alone, became known as the savage killer of men, women and children.
With the legend came those who sought fame for being the one who killed Pintry The Death Rider.
